Scenes from a Saturday Soiree

Last Saturday, I participated in a vintage soiree organized by Lily of Love Charles Vintage. It was only my second time being a seller in such an event it went much better this time than last! I actually sold a few things, but beyond that, it was just a fun atmosphere.

The last sale I did was more general, but this time it was specifically vintage. And I have to say, the vintage crowd in Grand Rapids is pretty awesome - in case you couldn't tell from their displays. Sadly, I completely forgot to take a photo of my own display, but these photos should give you an idea what the others were like!

Despite my best efforts to remind myself that I was there to sell, not to buy, I did come away with a few new treasures - including a deep-red velvet dress - but they'll be making their blog debut another day...

I was completely smitten with Joelle's awesome display. Luckily, she was right across from us, so I got to sneak lots of photos without seeming too terribly creepy!

            

Though Chris and I mostly watched our display, we (of course) made some time for the photo booth...and I think that might just become a new tradition for us!
